Slot review: 2 Wild 2 Die

Hacksaw Gaming is partial to the odd Western-themed slot and one of the best to leave its production line is 2 Wild 2 Die.

This is a dark, brooding take on the classic Western theme and packs a punch when it comes to bonus features and big win potential – we are talking 15,000x here.

The reels are set against a Western town that has gone up in flames with a heroic lady outlaw standing, guns raised, on the left-hand side of the reels.

Ready to join her? Of course you are.

Quick stats about 2 Wild 2 Die

Like many of Hacksaw Gaming’s Western titles, 2 Wild 2 Die is a 5×4 slot with 14 fixed paylines.

It has a 96.25% RTP rating, sits at the extreme end of the volatility scale with a score of 5/5 and has a staggering maximum win of 15,000x your bet. You can play from as little as £0.10 per spin.

2 Wild 2 Die bonus features

If you love slots loaded with bonus features, 2 Wild 2 Die is perfect for you.

Silver and Golden Revolver symbols land with 1 to 6 bullets in the chamber. If a Revolver lands, it shoots its bullets at random positions on the grid. When hit by a Silver Revolver for the first time, the position turns into a Wild symbol and then for each subsequent hit, a Mutliplier between 2x and 200x is added. If a position gets hit by a Golden Revolver, it becomes a Wild Multiplier. The Golden Revolver always shoots first and when a Revolver is empty, it transforms into a Wild.

Landing three FS Scatter symbols triggers the Most Wanted feature. Only Revolver symbols, Reload symbols and blanks can land on the reels while the feature is active. 6 Wanted Posters with Multipliers sit above the playing grid and when a Revolver lands, all the bullets shoot at the posters, releasing the designated Multiplier value each contains. With the Silver Revolver, its value gets locked in the position where it lands for the rest of the feature while the Golden Revolver’s total value gets added to all of the locked Silver Revolver and Reloads, and then it vanishes. This time, Gold shoots after the Silver Revolver.

Still with us? Good. When a Reload symbol lands, it collects the values held by all of the sticky Silver Revolvers and adds another 1 to 6 bullets into the chamber of each – these bullets are then fired at the Wanted Posters once again.

Landing 4 FS symbols triggers the Shootin’ Wild bonus feature and awards ten Free Games. The rules remain the same, but all the Wilds with Multipliers become sticky and remain in place till the round ends. Spinning two additional FS Scatter symbols awards two Free Spins while hitting three awards four Free Spins.

Landing three FS Scatters with the Best of Bonus Scatter also in play in the base game triggers the Best of Most Wanted feature. It awards three Most Wanted bonus rounds, rewarding players with the highest win from the three outcomes.

Why play 2 Wild 2 Die?

This is a ferocious game that’s not for the faint-hearted. The bonus combo is aggressive and will get the adrenaline pumping as the bullets – and the big wins – fly.

2 Wild 2 Die is also superbly designed and grabs the attention of the player from the moment the game loads. If you like Western slots, load your Revolver and get spinning.

Negatives of 2 Wild 2 Die

It’s hard to criticise 2 Wild 2 Die, but if we had to find one area of improvement, it would be the highly volatile nature of the slot. While this is part of the appeal for season players, it might deter more casual spinners from giving it a go.
